Toronto-based TMX Group has acquired Atrium Network and added it to its information services unit TMX Datalinx. The connectivity solutions firm will be renamed TMX Atrium and help the exchanges operator spread connectivity solutions across Europe and expand its foothold in the U.S.
The venture will provide 25 points of existence in 11 countries, 24 trading venues and 300 data sources. Clients will be facilitated with additional data content and enhanced access to trading solutions. Atrium’s global network will also boost order flow into Toronto Stock Exchange, TSX Venture Exchange and Montreal Exchange.
