Four private equity firms have offered to buy Thomson Reuters’ trade and risk management software business, Reuters reports. Avista Capital Partners, Cinven, Bridgepoint and Montagu are the bidders seeking to acquire Kondor.
The sale, which is valued at $600-650 million, is being managed by Barclays Capital. The information providing firm will reinvest the proceeds from the deal into its key business.
