Boral is buying Lafarge’s 50% interest in joint venture Lafarge Boral Gypsum Asia (LBGA) for €380 million, The Wall Street Journal reports. The enterprise value of the purchase, including debt, is €429 million.
The transaction is likely to be completed before the end of this year, adds Market Watch. The Gypsum Asia joint venture is a plasterboard business that comprises manufacturing operations in 20 countries.
