BMO Capital Markets has appointed Jim Birchenough as managing director of its healthcare equity research group. He will be responsible for leading BMO’s coverage of the U.S. biotechnology sector. Based in San Francisco, Birchenough will be joining the team of Nicholas Abbott and Charles Whitesell. BMO Capital Markets is the investment and corporate banking arm of BMO Financial Group.
