JMP Group, an investment banking and alternative asset management firm, has named Kevin Lynch as president of Harvest Capital Strategies. Lynch will also continue to serve as COO of JMP’s asset management subsidiary. Before joining Harvest Capital in 2008, Lynch was COO at Pantera Capital Management, a global macro hedge fund. Previously, he has also worked with JP Morgan Securities and Andersen Consulting.
