French state-owned financial institution Caisse des Depots et Consignations (CDC) is planning to offload a private-equity fund portfolio, Market Watch reports. The portfolio consists primarily of European buyout funds and has a net asset value of around €180 million.
Campbell Lutyens & Company is an intermediary for the transaction. CDC, which is selling some positions in private-equity funds to recycle capital into other investment opportunities, has invested in over 400 funds with a total commitment of €25 billion.
