KWAP Eyes $27B Fund Size By Year End

Kumpulan Wang Persaraan (KWAP) is intending to raise the fund size to $26.9 billion by year end.

Kumpulan Wang Persaraan (KWAP) is intending to raise the fund size to $26.9 billion by year end, Malaysia Star reports. The Malaysian fund, which is also known as the Retirement Fund, currently stands at $23.72 billion.

The system’s gross investment income saw 53% of its contributions coming from equities. Fixed income assets, namely loans and private debt securities, Malaysian government securities and money market instruments contributed $302.32 million, $282.17 million and $131.005 million, respectively. However, KWAP’s net investment income came down from $1.62 billion last year.
