UBS co-head of Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) debt capital markets (DCM) Mahnaz Safa has stepped down from her role, Reuters reports. Safa, who had joined the Swiss bank in1992, became co-head of European DCM in 2009 alongside Fabio Lisanti.
Lisanti will be joined by Allegra Berman and continue to serve in his role as co-head of DCM EMEA. Berman will retain his position of vice chairman of global capital markets and continue to manage the sovereign, supranational and agency business within DCM.
