Principal Global Investors has launched a new operational unit in Netherlands, Financial News reports. The firm has also appointed Jeroen Rooij as senior institutional marketer for the new unit. Rooji joined the diversified asset management firm on July 1 from Robeco. At Robeco Rooji was serving as head of institutional business for the Netherlands, the U.K., the Nordic countries and Italy until July 2010.
