U.S. Exchs Post Softening EQ Trading In June

U.S. exchanges have seen softening equities trading in June.

U.S. exchanges have seen softening equities trading in June, Financial Times reports. As per the NYSE Euronext figures, U.S. cash equities trading lowered 2.8% in June month on month and by 28.7% on June 2010 levels.

The NASDAQ OMX posted a 2% sequential monthly growth in U.S. equities average daily volume in June. Its market share reached 22.9% in June against 18.1% in January. In Europe, the average daily volume on NYSE Euronext’s markets fell 2.8%, as compared to June 2010.
