GIC Names New India Business Group Head

Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund the Government of Singapore Investment Corporation has named Quah Ghee to head its India Business Group.

Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund the Government of Singapore Investment Corporation (GIC) has named Quah Ghee to head its India Business Group, VC Circle reports. He will retire form his current role as president of GIC Asset Management to assume the new role. Lim Kiat, who is currently serving as president (Europe), has been named as the replacement for Ghee. Among other changes, Teh Peng has been named as chairperson of GIC’s China Business Group, while Tay Hock will be president of GIC Special Investments.
