Sawakami AM President Steps Down

Atsuto Sawakami, president of Sawakami Asset Management, is resigning from his current position.

Atsuto Sawakami, president of Sawakami Asset Management, is resigning from his current position, Bloomberg reports. He will now become Chairman of the Tokyo-based firm, which he founded over 10 years ago.

Sawakami, who will also continue CIO of the firm, will be replaced by Mitsuaki Kuroshima. The new president, Kuroshima has been serving the asset management firm since 2008 as its chief analyst.
