Earvin Johnson has joined Detroit Venture Partners (DVP) as a general partner. Johnson will invest money in the fund itself.
The Detroit-based venture capital firm invests in seed and early-stage technology companies. DVP invests in six of the 12 companies it expects to fund in 2011.
