Santander Asset Management has appointed José Cuervo as global head of Latin American (LatAm) equities, Financial Times reports. Cuervo will help in improving the firm’s international positioning as well as building its institutional business, adds FundWeb.
Previously, he was working with HSBC Global Asset Management, where he built portfolios and managed LatAm equity and Brazil. Cuervo also managed equities invested in Brazil, Russia, India and China as well as global equity market funds.
