Bank of America Charitable Foundation will commit about $50 million towards four education initiatives. Boston College Lynch School of Education, Citizen Schools, City Year and GreenLight Fund will get the funding.
The foundation will initially provide $4.5 million to these organizations. The three-year donation will help these organizations provide innovative education opportunities to low-income communities.
