Doughty Hanson is seeking to tender a bid for Synovate, the market research unit of U.K. marketing company Aegis, Financial Times reports. The private equity group has hired Wyvern Partners to work on a potential offer for the business, which is valued at £600 million.
U.K. private equity firm Cinven has also showed an interest in Synovate. London-based Doughty Hanson’s last buy-out was Vue Entertainment in November for about £450 million.
