AX Trading Group will use Informatica’s software for its trading platform. The Informatica Ultra Messaging software will help develop AX Trading Network platform’s distributed enterprise systems environment, reduce costs associated with underlying hardware and network infrastructure and cut the risks inherent in building a high-volume trading platform.
The platform is an alternative trading system that helps source liquidity in tough-to-trade situations. The network is using Informatica Ultra Messaging Streaming Edition to power its market data redistribution channel, which will take in market data from 13 different U.S. securities exchanges and route trading orders to the best-priced exchange.
