HSBC Appoints Private Bank CEO

HSBC has appointed Krishna Patel as its new CEO of global private banking.

HSBC has appointed Krishna Patel as its new CEO of global private banking, Reuters reports. In his new role, he will focus on increasing its competitive advantages in fast growing markets, adds China Daily. Patel, who currently serves as CEO of HSBC Africa, will initially be based in Geneva and will work under HSBC Group CEO Stuart Gulliver. He will also continue to chair HSBC’s values committee.
