Morgan Stanley Boosts U.S. IB Team

Morgan Stanley has expanded its U.S. investment banking unit with the appointment of three senior executives.

Morgan Stanley has expanded its U.S. investment banking (IB) unit with the appointment of three senior executives, FinanceAsia reports. The firm has hired Richard Tory as head of its Asia-Pacific natural resources group, David Lau as managing director in the technology team and Oki Ramadhana as an executive director.

The trio will be active in their respective roles in the second half of 2011. Troy is joining Morgan Stanley from Credit Suisse and Lau from Barclays Capital, while Ramadhana was most recently working with Goldman Sachs.
