Merchant Capital has rolled out a new Ucits portfolio, Financial Times reports. This is the first fund in a line of planned five new Ucits funds that the firm will launch in partnership with hedge fund manager Spectrum Partners.
The new fund is a Ucits compliant version of the Spectrum Russian Phoenix fund. The funds are invested mainly in large-cap equities in Russia and former Soviet states.
