According to Barclays Capital (BarCap), investors took out around $7 billion from the commodities markets in May, Reuters reports. Commodities total assets under management came down to $425 billion.
The fall of $26 billion was highest since the $55 billion decrease in October 2008. BarCap approximates investments across commodities markets in exchange-traded products, medium term notes and indices.
