Citigroup has acquired a stake in Vietnamese brokerage firm Horizon Securities, The Wall Street Journal reports. The U.S. bank bought a 9.9% stake in the Ho Chi Minh-based company.

The financial details of the transaction have not been disclosed. The New York-based lender already has offices in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City and provides banking services across the country, including corporate and investment banking.
