JP Morgan has expanded its team in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) as well as Turkey region with the appointment of country officers. The firm has hired Sjoerd Leenart as senior country officer for in MENA and Emre Derman as senior country head of Turkey.
In their respective roles, both the officers will work under head of investment banking for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Emilio Saracho. Mark Garvin, Chairman of treasury and securities services international, was the interim senior country officer for the MENA region.
