KKR has added John Hess to the board of directors of KKR Management, the general partner of KKR. After his appointment, the independent directors on KKR’s board have increased to six out of a total of eight board seats.
Most recently, Hess was working as Chairman and CIO of Hess Corporation. Prior to this, he was a director of Dow Chemical. Since 2006, he has served on the Business Council, the Trilateral Commission and the Council on Foreign Relations.
