Private equity firm Mid Europa Partners is planning to make an offer for Polish retailer Emperia’s retail chains, Reuters reports. Emperia is seeking to raise around $318 million from the sale of its retail arm.

Emperia is estimated to be valued at around $500 million. Earlier this year, Mid Europa had acquired another Polish retail chain Zabka from Penta Investments for about $568 million.
