Polaris Securities Investment Trust will roll out its first environmental, social and governance (ESG) fund for retail investors in Taiwan, Asian Investor reports. The Emerging Markets ESG Strategy Securities Investment Trust Fund will mainly invest in companies that achieve growth in line with the concepts of social equity, healthy life, environmental protection and clean and efficient energy.

The product will also invest in 40-60 stocks that are selected from the 800 constituent stocks of the MSCI Emerging Markets index. Lai Yingliang is the portfolio manager of the securities investment trust fund and Wells Capital is the adviser on the fund.
