Strategic Value Partners (SVP) has appointed Michael Hewett as managing director, Private Equity Hub reports. He will be responsible to head the firm’s business development in Europe and the Middle East.

Hewett will work closely with the firm’s co-founders Victor Khosla and Jean-Louis Lelogeais to further expand its international investor base. Hewett is joining SVP from Terra Firma Capital Partners, where he was serving as managing director and head of investor relations.
