The North Carolina Retirement System has appointed fund of hedge funds firm Paamco, HFMWeekreports. The appointment is an initiative to expand the $85 million system’s allocation to credit hedge funds
The pension has also granted a full recovery from its investment in hedge fund firm SCS Global. Previously, the North Carolina system invested in hedge funds only through the pension’s Alternative Investment Fund alongside private equity, with an overall allocation limit of 5%.
