Eurex Adds Options On Commodity ETPs

International derivatives exchange Eurex Exchange has expanded its commodity derivatives offering by introducing derivatives on two commodity ETPs.

International derivatives exchange Eurex Exchange has expanded its commodity derivatives offering by introducing derivatives on two commodity ETPs. The new contracts have a contract size of 100 units and are traded in U.S. dollars. The options are European options with terms of up to 60 months.

The ETPs are the Physical Gold ETP and the Crude Oil ETP, both launched by ETF Securities. In the exchange’s ETF derivatives segment, three futures and 21 options on ETFs are currently tradable.
