Deutsche Bank CEO To Chair Board

Josef Ackermann, CEO of Deutsche Bank, will become Chairman of the bank’s supervisory board.

Josef Ackermann, CEO of Deutsche Bank, will become Chairman of the bank’s supervisory board, Reuters reports. In his new role, Ackermann will replace Clemens Boersig, who is stepping down in May 2012. Ackermann, who was scheduled to retire in 2009, extended his contract until 2013 as the bank was unable to find his replacement. Deutsche’s investment bank head Anshu Jain and Germany head Juergen Fitschen may become joint CEOs.
