FedEx To Commit $500M To U.S. Pensions

FedEx is seeking to allocate about $500 million to its U.S. pension plans in 2012.

FedEx is seeking to allocate about $500 million to its U.S. pension plans in 2012, Pensions & Investments reports. The company had committed $480 million to the plans in 2011.

The company’s pension plans have invested about 27% in U.S. large-cap equities, 24% in corporate fixed income, 20% in U.S. government fixed income, 13% in international equities, 10% in U.S. smidcap equity and 3% each to private equity and cash.
