Dreyfus Municipal Income has selected of Daniel Barton as co-primary portfolio manager for the portfolio of the firm. He will be working alongside the fund’s current portfolio manager James Welch.

As a part of the move, Dreyfus will continue to be the investment advisor for the portfolio. Barton is presently serving as senior analyst for tax-sensitive strategies at an affiliate of Dreyfus, Standish Mellon Asset Management.
