Merrill Lynch Wealth Management has appointed Ahmed Barakat as UAE market manager, AME Info reports. Based in Dubai, he will work under Tamer Rashad, head of Middle East, Merrill Lynch Wealth Management.
In his new role, Barakat will be in charge of helping to expand Merrill Lynch’s UAE wealth management business and further enhancing its offering to clients. Most recently, he was working with Credit Suisse Abu Dhabi as director of private banking and head of the Abu Dhabi representative office.
