MF Global Holdings has hired David Simons as its new global head of operations. He will be responsible for running the management and strategic development of trade processing and clearing operations globally.

In his new role, Simon will be reporting to president and COO of MF Global, Bradley Abelow. Simons is joining the trading and hedging solutions provider from Goldman Sachs, where he was managing director.
