Barclays Capital has appointed Mike Di Iorio as head of equities, Asia Pacific, The Wall Street Journal reports. In the new role, he will work under Jerry Donini, head of equities and Robert Morrice, Chairman and CEO Asia Pacific. Di Iorio has succeeded Siggi Thorkelsson, who will become Europe, Middle East and Africa head of equities, based in London. Di Iorio was previously the firm’s head of equities trading for the Asia Pacific region.
