Pictet & Cie unit Pictet Asset Management has hired Anthony Cheung as senior investment manager for the Asia total return team. He will work under head of Asia equity long/short Nidhi Mahurkar. In his new role, Cheung will be responsible for co-managing Asia equity long/short funds. Most recently, he served as an investment manager in the global emerging markets team at Gartmore Investment Management. He has also worked with ABN AMRO Asset Management and Central Asset Investments.
