AP7 has awarded BNY Mellon a mandate to provide derivatives collateral services. The services will be provided through BNY’s derivatives margin management platform, DM Edge, its Triparty collateral management and Money Funds platforms.
The move will support AP7’s equity over-the-counter (OTC) derivatives trading, assist in raising cash as collateral, reinvesting cash collateral and calculating margin call amounts. The Swedish state pension fund, AP7, has over €8.5 billion under management.
