S-Network Global Indexes has unveiled a new mutual fund index for U.S.-listed closed-end funds. The S-Network Municipal Bond Closed-End Fund Index will be a benchmark for funds, which are involved in asset management processes designed to produce federally tax-exempt yield. The index’s live calculation will start from June 8, 2011. The index will involve four fund sectors, including Leveraged Municipal Fixed Income Closed-End Funds, Unleveraged Municipal Fixed Income Closed-End Funds and Leveraged High Yield Municipal Fixed Income Closed-End Funds.
