Frankfurt Bourse Extends Trading Hours

The Frankfurt Stock Exchange will increase its trading hours for locally listed shares from June 1.

The Frankfurt Stock Exchange (FWB) will increase its trading hours for locally listed shares from June 1, Reuters reports. With the extended timings, trading of locally listed shares, funds and exchange-traded funds (ETFs) will be possible from 0800-2000 CET.

The move by exchange operator Deutsche Boerse comes after traditional Frankfurt floor trade was ended last month. The benchmark DAX index will trade as usual from 0900 CET to 1730 CET.
