BlackRock has chosen HSBC Securities Services (HSS) to service two of its fixed income exchange-traded funds (ETFs), Asia Asset reports. HSS has been appointed as the trustee, custodian, registrar and accounting and valuation agent for the iShares Barclays Capital Asia Local Currency Bond Index ETF and the iShares JP Morgan Asia Credit Bond Index ETF, adds The Asset.
The funds are listed on the Singapore Exchange. HSS will add the two ETFs to its existing portfolio. Currently, the bank services one more ETF in Singapore and 14 ETFs in Hong Kong.
