UBS Hires Middle East, Africa Head

UBS has appointed Albert Momdjian as head of its Middle East and Africa business.

UBS has appointed Albert Momdjian as head of its Middle East and Africa business, The Wall Street Journal reports. Based in Dubai, Momdjian will cater to ultra-high net worth clients and also lead the Swiss bank’s corporate advisory group in the region. Most recently, he served at Credit Agricole as head of its corporate and investment bank in the Middle East. Momdjian will start in his new role from Aug. 1, 2011.
