NYC To Hire EM Managers For Plans

The comptroller’s office of the New York City has issued a request for proposal for a pool of managers of emerging managers.

The comptroller’s office of the New York City has issued a request for proposal (RFP) for a pool of managers of emerging managers, Pensions & Investments reports. The selection of a manager or managers will be made individually by each pension plan.

The hired managers will be specialized in emerging managers of the publicly traded U.S., Europe Australasia Far East, emerging markets and global equities for the public pension plans of the city. City Comptroller John Liu is custodian for the five city pension plans.
