Ohio PF Picks Finalists For $660M Mandate

The Ohio Police & Fire Pension Fund, Columbus, is seeking two to three managers to handle a total of $660 million in international small-cap equities.

The Ohio Police & Fire Pension Fund, Columbus, is seeking two to three managers to handle a total of $660 million in international small-cap equities, Pensions & Investments reports. The fund has selected seven managers as finalists, Batterymarch Financial Management, Dimensional Fund Advisors, Epoch Investment Partners, Franklin Templeton, Pyramis Global Advisors, Schroder Investment Management and Wells Capital Management.

All the seven selected finalists are due to make presentations to the $12.3 billion fund’s board in early to mid-August. The search is the result of a change in the fund’s non-U.S. equity allocation to include small-cap equities.
