The comment was made at a roundtable discussing the feasibility of introducing the Danish product to the U.K. housing market. The spokesman said the funding market in both countries differ, noting that large, domestic Danish institutions are the main purchases of covered bonds, while the U.K. bond market depends more on foreign investors.
