The New York State Teachers’ Retirement System is seeking to add two new managers to its in-house investment staff, Pensions & Investments reports. The selected private equity international manager will be responsible for managing the international, special situations and venture capital subsector in the private equity portfolio. The candidate will also be overseeing the growth of the portfolio and be responsible for about $6 billion in investments. The fixed-income manager will be in charge to assist in both the development and implementation of fixed-income portfolio strategy, portfolio construction and risk management.
