Franklin Templeton ME To Float Two Funds

A unit created by the merger of a Middle East subsidiary of Franklin Templeton Investments and Algebra Capital is planning to unveil two new funds.

A unit created by the merger of a Middle East subsidiary of Franklin Templeton Investments and Algebra Capital is planning to unveil two new funds, Gulf News reports. The combined entity, known as Franklin Templeton Investments ME, will launch two fixed income funds over the next year.

The proposed funds are a retail product and a Gulf Cooperation Council -focused fixed income fund. The funds will be launched after the completion of the merger, which is expected to close in June 2011.
