Westfield Gets Bids For U.S. Malls Sale

Westfield Group has attracted several early bidders for its 17 U.S. shopping centers.

Westfield Group has attracted several early bidders for its 17 U.S. shopping centers, The Wall Street Journal reports. CBL & Associates Properties, Goldman Sachs, Queensland Investment and Madison Marquette are some of the bidders for the properties.

The Teachers Retirement System of Ohio is considering a bid for Westfield’s four Ohio malls, while O’Connor Capital Partners is reviewing a few of its East Coast properties. Marty Cicco of Evercore Partners is acting as the broker for the Australian mall owner.
