Kenya Fund Secures Three NBK Board Seats

State retirement fund the National Social Security Fund, has won three seats on the board of the National Bank of Kenya .

State retirement fund the National Social Security Fund (NSSF), has won three seats on the board of the National Bank of Kenya (NBK), The Standard reports. The bank has selected Mohammed Hassan, who also chairs the Kenyan fund’s board, as the new Chairman of its board.

Other two NSSF board member representatives are Erastus Mwongera and Sylvia Kitonga. The trio replaces Jennifer Riria of the Kenya Women Finance Trust, PW Ngumi and Alfred Juma. NBK’s outgoing Chairman, Michael Muhindi, will continue to be a director.
