Amundi Asset Management is planning to reduce the performance fee of its hedge-fund-style portfolios, Reuters reports. The French firm is evaluating the fee structure of its value at risk (VaR) range of funds. Currently, the VaR 2 and VaR 4 funds charge performance fees of 30% above a pre-determined target and annual management fees of about 0.3-1.1%. Amundi has about €690 billion in total assets and manages €14 billion in absolute return strategies.
