Marex Financial has hired David Govett as head of precious metals in London, Bloomberg reports. In his new role at the commodities focused broker, Govett will focus on establishing a precious metals division at the firm. Govett joins from Tradition Financial Services in Australia, where he headed the precious metals division. He has previously also served at Cantor Fitzgerald and ICAP’s precious metals brokerage desks.
